What are backgrounds?

Backgrounds are one of the options available with every photo book purchase. They are a great means of adding flavor to your pages.

Tips on selecting backgrounds.

If your digital photo album is based on a sole theme, you may want to select backgrounds from the same category. You may want to pick backgrounds of similar colors, or depending on your mood you may prefer an album with a rainbow of color assortments. The choice is entirely up to you.

What your background choices tell us.

Your background choices convey to the designer important information on the type of color scheme or theme that you have in mind. The selections you make help inform us for example whether you are looking for a simple, playful, or sophisticated design. The photo book designer takes this and all of your option choices into careful consideration when compiling your custom album page by page. How are backgrounds used?

A single background selection has a variety of arrangements. The designer may use your background selection in various ways throughout your album.

Pictured here are a few of the ways your background may be used. The designer will arrange your background choices in a similar manner.

Therefore, although one background may be used multiple times throughout your photo book, variations in its arrangement produces a unique yet uniformed appearance.
