Get together with your closest friends, school club or team to compile a single book that captures your shared memories.
Looking for the perfect gift for a special graduate?
An original photo book makes a great graduation gift. Include scans of a handwritten letter of best wishes to the graduate as a part of your book.
Tips for planning your book:
- Include High school photos - Pictures taken at various club activities, school events and trips, and other memorable times spent with friends from throughout your high school days. You may want to place particular emphasis on your senior year.
- Include photos from your childhood - A must, especially if you have been friends for years. If making your book as a group, you may include sections dedicated to each person for their childhood pictures.
- Time Capsule - Take photos of items or places that hold special memories for you or your friends. Include pictures of your favorite hang out, the spot where you always ate lunch, your table in the cafeteria, your classroom, locker, uniform, everything! Remember to include captions to label the items.
- Include letters or sketches - Scan handwritten messages to each other, letters, notes, quotes, sketches, or any other items of significance to you and your friends. If this is a gift for a graduate, personalize your book with a handwritten congratulatory message.
- Q&A - Create a list of questions and have each person in your group fill it out with their answers. Remember to include questions on your favorites/least favorites (favorite teacher, subject, school lunch, actor/actress, song, artist, quote, tv show, movie...) and your memories (most embarrassing moment, best and worst decision you made, happiest moment in high school, crushes...).

You couldn't have done it without them. Show your heartfelt appreciation with an original photo book made for your family, mentor or that special teacher who supported you through the years.
The appreciation book also makes a great end of the school year gift for teachers, or an end of the season gift for coaches. |

Tips for planning your book:
- Include favorite photos - Start with the earliest photo you have with the person(s) you are honoring, right up to the most recent. If you do not have many photos taken with them, then include pictures of places where you spent the most time (classroom, campus, playing field...) or items of significance (artwork from art class, guitar from music class, basketball from practice...) Remember to include short captions to explain the significance of the shot.
- Timeline - If you have known the person for a long time, put together a timeline of notable events starting from when you first met through present day. Include a short blurb of the memory or impression that you had of them that day.
|
|
- Include a personal message - Write a letter or note, thanking them for their love and support. Mention particular conversations or events that hold special memories for you. Scan a handwritten note for an extra personal touch.
- School work, drawings and other memoirs - Scan any essays or school work that you are particularly proud of, an award you have received, drawings you have made, or anything else of significance that holds special meaning for you or the person(s) you are recognizing.
